Kiva at Canterbury is located in beautiful Bonita Springs Florida, on the corner of Vanderbilt Drive and Seventh Street in the residential community of Bonita Shores. Its location near shopping, pharmacies and medical offices provides convenience for both personal and health care needs.

Family and community are a very important part of life at Kiva. Our porches and lounges provide plenty of space for those special visits from friends and family, or to enjoy time over a good cup of coffee or a cold glass of southern iced tea.

Kiva Offers:

The Standard Care Center provides a comfortable, secure space with emphasis on quality care. The following amenities are provided:

• Fully furnished or un-furnished private or semi-private rooms.

• A trained and friendly staff twenty-four hours a day.
• Three meals a day and nutritious snacks designed by a certified dietician.
• Personal laundry/linen service.
• Housekeeping services.
• Assistance with bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Assistance with medication.
• Scheduled recreational activities.
• Attractive and well furnished lounges and porches.

• Attractive walking spaces and courtyards.

Memory Care Center

In addition to the services provided in the Standard Care Center, the Memory Care Center provides the following:

• A staff with elevated training to respond to the specific needs of these residents.
• Enclosed courtyards and walking areas.
• Fully secured entries and exits.
• Regular health and needs assessments.
• Nutrition observation.

• Assistance with ambulation and transferring.

Senior Day Program

Providing a safe, active environment with rest areas, medication assistance and assistance with personal hygiene and meals.

Short Term Respite Vacation Care Plan

Includes all of the services and amenities enjoyed by our long-term residents.

Kiva can accommodate thirty-eight residents and is licensed as an Extended Congregate Care (ECC) Facility by the Agency for Health Care Administration. We also operate Kiva of Palatka, Florida, located in the medical district of Palatka, a historic St. Johns River city. Private pay, long term care insurance and Medicaid waiver accepted.
