Caring for the Caregiver Workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 6 at the COA, 180 Marine St. This workshop is being sponsored by Community Hospice of Northeast Florida and is a collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association, ElderSource, Mayo Clinic and the St. Johns County Council on Aging.
At the workshop, the topics will include, when should you call Hospice, home safety for dementia patients, preservation of assets, and challenging behaviors caused by memory disorders. This workshop is presented at no costs but please call Call Nancy Urban at 209-3681 by June 3 for reservations.
